Colin Wright, Deputy Conductor and AccompanistColin Wright has been accompanist to the East Riding County Choir since 1991, and is also Deputy Conductor. For thirteen years, until 2010, he was accompanist to the Hull Choral Union. He has participated regularly in concerts for both societies in Hull and the surrounding area. He is also frequently engaged in performance with a number of other local organisations, including the Melsa Consort and the Hull Bach Choir.
Originally from West Middlesex, Colin won an organ scholarship to St Catharine’s College, Cambridge in 1964, where he studied organ and choral practice, later gaining the award of Fellowship of the Royal College of Organists. |
