Concert Procedure

1.  Choir members should assemble, grouped by voice, in the Choir of the Minster, where they should leave coats, bags etc.   They should process to their seats on the platform as and when directed.   No water bottles are to be taken onto the platform.
2.  The choir should stand when the soloists and conductor enter.
3.  At the end of the item before the interval, the choir should remain standing until the soloists and conductor have left.
4.  All choir members should leave the platform at the interval.  At the given signal they should re-assemble in the North Transept before processing back to their places when directed to do so for the second half of the performance.
5.  At the end of the performance the choir members should sit, not standing until directed by the conductor to acknowledge the applause.  They should not, at this point, applaud the soloists or the orchestra.
6.  The choir should sit when the soloists and the conductor leave, and may applaud on their re-appearance.
7.  Hire copies of scores are to be left in the boxes on the bench opposite the shop at the end of the concert.
